I’ve been trying to find a way to convert MKV files to AVI without compomising on the output file size. However, ALL the converters I’ve tested failed to rise to the challenge. After a 2-3 hour wait (!) I invariably ended up having files over or very close to 2 Gb. Upon extensive googling I was able to find this and it really did fulfill all of my criteria: no overblown output files, relatively fast decoding time and ease of use. U will find all u need inside the RAR-file – all the necessary tools, an easy-to-follow instruction and a screenshot
